Phyllis E. Bird is a Reiki Master and Instructor at Angel’s Hideaway, who currently maintains her private Reiki practice and instructs on Reiki practices. Ms. Bird uses hand-healing techniques to promote health by helping people to relax and achieve balance throughout their systems. A retired animation painter with the Feature Animation Ink and Paint Department of The Walt Disney Studios, Ms. Bird has done series work for Hanna-Barbera, Filmation, Ruby Spears, and other animation studios. In addition, she completed the ink and paint work for the following films: “Treasure Planet” in 2002, “Lilo & Stitch” in 2002, “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” in 2001, “The Emperor’s New Groove” in 2000, “Fantasia” in 2000, “Tarzan” in 1999, “Mulan” in 1998, “Hercules” in 1997, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” in 1996, “Pocahontas” in 1995, “The Lion King” in 1994, “Aladdin” in 1992, “Beauty and the Beast” in 1991, “The Rescuers Down Under” in 1990, “The Little Mermaid” in 1989, “Oliver & Company” in 1988, “The Great Mouse Detective” in 1986 and “The Black Cauldron” in 1985. She has also been a ventriloquist since childhood. Ms. Bird has been featured in a chapter in a book on alternative healing.
