Ms. Hoyer’s interest in music started when she was a young girl. She grew up singing and playing a variety of instruments, and her mother was the choir director of her church, which led her to participate in choir. Music became her life’s devotion and she studied voice at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. where she developed her talents and began singing opera. After graduation, Ms. Hoyer studied in Vienna, Austria and performed house concerts. She also studied with the Kingwood Chorale and Kingwood Opera.

Today, Ms. Hoyer provides music lessons and vocal training through her company, MK Hoyer Song Services. She also sings upon request privately and at events, such as weddings, church functions and sporting events. Ms. Hoyer takes great pride in her work and believes she has been able to excel over the past 25 years due to her perseverance. In the coming years, Ms. Hoyer hopes to gain more recognition and establish herself as a professional singer.
