Company: CL Brimberry Artwork
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Fayetteville, AR, November 10, 2014, Catherine Brimberry, Fine Art Painter at CL Brimberry Artwork, has been recognized by Elite American Artists for dedication, achievements and leadership in abstract painting.
Ms. Brimberry found her talent for drawing when she was a child. While she initially wanted to become a classical musical performer due to her mother’s deep love for music, she never became a pianist. Ms. Brimberry eventually realized her dream of becoming an artist and has been refining her skill set in the area over the past 20 years. Ms. Brimberry’s art is showcased in private collections across the U.S. and Europe. She has studied art with fine teachers, and is a retired psychotherapist. Every few years, she travels to Umbria, a region of Italy, to visit the art school there. She feels that the uncontrollable nature of watercolors helped her “let go” and accept what the paint would ultimately form on the canvas. Ms. Brimberry has won numerous awards for her work and published articles in Palette Magazine.
Being an abstract artist, she enjoys listening to what people see in her art because it helps her see a little bit inside of the person looking at her art. Ms. Brimberry relishes in the opportunity to be free to express herself on a daily basis and create pieces that speak to her nature. She stated, “Every day I paint I experience something new about my journey as an artist and as a person. To me that’s the biggest reward.”Ms. Brimberry takes great pride in her work and looks to encourage aspiring artists to create their own styles, rather than try to imitate others. She attributes her success to her outgoing personality and her passion for helping people that are trying to discover their own unique voice. She partially attributes this passion to her background as a therapist. Looking toward the future, Ms. Brimberry would like to have her art represented in galleries across the East and West coasts.
